Founded in 1928 by stave miller Eugène Charlois and located in the heart of the Nivernais, Maison Charlois has specialized in the selection of oaks, the slot and the natural drying of the stave, becoming the 1st oak grove in France and leader on the French stave market.
Now run by the 6th generation of the Charlois family, the Group has been involved since 2006 in various complementary activities through acquisitions and creation of a dozen of companies in France and internationally.
In order to unite the Group and its brands, AIR PARIS proposed a global platform built around the oak tree as a central element. Creating a “living tree” of heritage, talents and know-hows integrating all activities of stave miller, cooper, producer of pallets and railway ties, oenological woodwork, organoleptic laboratory…
With “Tout commence par le Chêne” (it all starts from the oak tree), AIR PARIS defined a strategic platform, full graphic expression, tone of voice and visual territory to build the global brand, brand identity and websites of Charlois Group and all companies.
